Island Car Registration
Vehicles with island registration need a permit to be driven on the mainland. These can be obtained from Transport and Main Roads. To obtain a permit, email [email protected]. You need to supply name of vehicle owner, address and phone number, vehicle registration number, make, model and VIN #. Permits available for a period up to 7 days.

Queensland Injectors Health Network (QuIHN) is a state-wide service that supports and promotes the health and wellbeing of people who currently use illicit drugs, those who have used illicit drugs in the past, and members of the community touched or affected by illicit drug use through a harm reduction framework.
The primary focus of QuIHN therapeutic services is to empower individuals to establish control over their lives through emphasising individual values, personal decision- making and goal setting. We provide support through:

- Case management support
- Significant other support Counselling (SOS)- designed to support significant others of individuals with substance use challenges and mental health concerns
- Tree house parenting Program
- The Maise program- provides information, education and support around drug use and mental health concerns
